Mounting Instructions:
The Lake Gogebic Tip-U.P. Lite will mount to any type of tip-up flag arm.
With flag arm in the down position (creates longest distance for cord), run cable along the top side or side of arm as to not to interfere with the tripping operation of the tip-up flag arm. Attach tie-wraps in four locations the length of the flag arm evenly spacing them from just above spring of arm to one directly around the flashing light assembly. Cinch tie-wraps tight and clip off excess length. Note: mount lens of flashing light assembly beyond the flag itself as not to obstruct view of the flashing light. You will need to make a small hole in the flag close to the flag arm to tie-wrap flashing light assembly to the extreme end of the flag arm.
The battery pack will rest at the base of your tip-up. Insert cable plug into the battery pack socket and you ready for fishing.
Test operation. Light should not flash when flag is in down position. If does flash, tilt light assembly down slightly or raise back of tip-up when on the ice with snow. Tilt switch is located in flashing light assembly and if in an upward position the switch will "make" causing the light to flash.
Battery Replacement:
Remove screw holding two case halves of the battery pack together. Push tab of the battery socket located on the top of the battery down toward battery. The battery will "pop" out for replacement. Replace battery with (+) positive pole of battery up. Slide in under tab of battery socket and snap into place. Replace case halves and screw. Recommend Panasonic CR2032 or equivalent 3v lithium coin cell.
